Krista's passion as an esthetician stems from her 25 year modeling career. At the age of 14, Krista signed with her first modeling agency in Southfield, Michigan.

Landing her first national commercial at the age of 15, it opened the door for many other acting and modeling contracts. Just to name a few of Krista's highlights in her 25 year career as a model were being chosen to be a background singer with the queen of soul, Aretha Franklin, landing a contract with the prestigious modeling agency, Eileen Ford in Chicago IL. Traveling around the country as a spokes model with Toyota for the International Auto Show, becoming part of the Screen Actor Awards in the 90's. Landing many contracts with national retail clothing chains for their advertising campaigns, as well as landing many other national, regional and local commercials.

Looking and feeling good were an important part of her career. Early on, she realized the importance of a healthy skin and hair care routine and has continued over the decades to focus on the value of self care.

After years of modeling and commercial work, Krista returned back to Michigan from Chicago with her 2 children, modeling life wasn't conductive to the life now as a single mother.

Focusing on settling down to provide a more stable environment for her children and herself. She returned to school to become a medical assistant. After working for a few different doctors, she worked for a dermatologist. Skin inspired her to return back to school to pursue esthetics after becoming a licensed esthetician, she grew more and more fascinated with skin care. Now almost 15 years as an esthetician, after working with a few plastic surgeons, and a few high-end spa's, Krista decided with 15 years of experience it was time to work on her own.

Opening Spa Lotus in her home during the pandemic, her client list grew quickly. After renovating the entire upstairs of her home into a spa area, the NEED for a separate space became apparent.
